Hugging: Yes, but if he doesn't know the character well he's likely to push them off. If he knows them, he's just bound to be very stiff and awkward.

Alfone's story is a pretty god-awful depressing, and in general uncomfortable at times on a good day. Between torture, emotional abuse, child abuse (not to him), and the whole... thing that happens in the end of his arc, I totally understand if you'd rather none of that be mentioned, or even want to avoid the character altogether! Just drop a comment and I'll work things accordingly.
